Who we are

VerifiedUK ("we", "us") operates verifiedsponsor.co.uk, a service that helps international candidates find UK jobs at licensed visa sponsors. For any privacy question or request, contact support@verifiedsponsor.co.uk.

What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile photo. We never see your Google password.
• Profile data you choose to provide. Visa expiry date, new-entrant status, and the text of any CV you upload for tailoring.
• Application activity. Jobs you save, tailor or mark as applied within the platform.
• Usage data. Pages viewed, searches made and feature usage, collected to improve the product. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics for aggregate traffic measurement.
• Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number — we hold only your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

How we use it

• To provide the service: your verified job feed, compliance tags and application tracker.
• To tailor your CV when you request it: your CV text and the job description are sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini) solely to generate the tailored version. Your visa details are used to insert the eligibility statement you see previewed.
• To process subscriptions and credits (Stripe).
• To respond when you contact us.
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email without your consent.

Where it lives

Data is stored and processed by our infrastructure providers: Google Firebase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS and email routing) and Stripe (payments). These providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).

Retention

Account and profile data are kept while your account is active. Uploaded CV text and tailored versions remain until you replace or delete them. If you want your account and data deleted, email us and we will remove them within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and request portability. Email support@verifiedsponsor.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences like dark mode. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and the date above.
